Five Medtech Startups Chosen for Epicenter’s ZeroTo510 2026 Accelerator

The 13-week go-to-market program is designed to support medtech startups through essential stages of business development.

Epicenter has selected five medtech startups to participate in the ZeroTo510 Accelerator, a nationally recognized program that supports early-stage medtech founders targeting commercialization. Each participating company has developed breakthrough technologies aimed at addressing critical gaps in healthcare.

Created in 2012 through the Memphis Bioworks Foundation and later rolling into Epicenter, more than 50 companies have leveraged ZeroTo510 programs. Alumni companies, including local standouts SweetBio, Hera Health, and Corami, have raised more than $120 million. 

The ZeroTo510 Accelerator has a rigorous application process and attracts innovative, early-stage startups from across the country. The comprehensive 13-week go-to-market program supports medtech startups through essential business development stages. Participating companies receive a $25,000 investment.

“The medtech landscape is evolving faster than ever, and the companies that will define the next decade of healthcare are being built right now,” said Olaf Schulz, director of the Zeroto510 Medtech programs at Epicenter. “At ZeroTo510, we believe it is our responsibility to stay at the forefront of innovation, and this year’s cohort is a direct reflection of that commitment. These founders are attacking healthcare’s most pressing unmet needs, and we’re proud to put the full weight of our programming, network, and resources behind them.”

The 2026 cohort was chosen from a diverse pool of applicants from eight states, ranging from California to Texas to New York. The cohort includes:

  • Provision Surgical (Nashville, Tenn.) — Provision Surgical’s PAIR Guide uses artificial intelligence (AI) to transform a patient’s medical scans into a live 3D model projected directly into the surgeon’s field of view through AR smart glasses, delivering real-time, patient-specific guidance during knee replacement surgery with sub-millimeter accuracy and no robot required. 
  • OK2StandUP Inc. (Bedford, Pa.) — OK2StandUP is tackling the nearly $30 billion annual burden of hospital-acquired pressure injuries by combining real-time physiological and EHR data to predict elevated risk and enable earlier intervention. 
  • ConvertaTek (Memphis, Tenn.) — ConvertaTek has engineered a first-of-its-kind modular shoulder implant system that allows surgeons to seamlessly convert between anatomic and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty configurations, giving younger patients access to pain relief without sacrificing future surgical options.
  • Ravan Medical Company (Houston) — Ravan Medical’s PulmVac is a compact, wearable chest drainage device that continuously monitors and manages pneumothorax with precision pressure sensing, freeing patients from bedside wall suction while giving clinicians objective, real-time data to guide treatment decisions.
  • CuffWay (Columbia, S.C.) — CuffWay has developed the first automated, adaptive cuff-pressure controller for endotracheal and tracheostomy tubes, addressing a silent ICU epidemic of complications affecting 9 million intubated patients annually through sustained airway cuff mismanagement. 

Throughout the program, participants receive intensive training in critical areas such as business planning, product development, navigating the U.S. Food and Drug Administration landscape, reimbursement and payment strategies, quality and manufacturing, soft-skill development, pitching, and fundraising. This curriculum ensures participating companies are well-prepared to navigate the complexities of bringing medical technologies to market.

The Accelerator will culminate in a Demo Day in Memphis on Dec. 10, 5:30 p.m., at the FedEx Event Center at Shelby Farms. Participating companies will showcase their technologies to investors, business leaders, and alumni, providing a platform for growth and investment.

Epicenter connects the entrepreneurial ecosystem across the Delta, working with economic development, academic, corporate, and government partners to create opportunities for new and existing businesses, academic entrepreneurs, and others across industries and growth stages. Through these partnerships, entrepreneurs gain access to programming, capital, customers, and talent.
